BEWARE of SOLAR GUYS get M and M instead. This was my third house, I had solar tubes installed in by Solar Guys. The first 2 houses were great, so I didn't hesitate to install in another. I asked for the same tubes I had previously and was told these are the same, except they have a night light in them. 3 were installed. These are NOT the same as what I had previously, These are horrible, ununiform and look even worse at night, When I complained and told them how much I dislike them, Jesse Wade, from Solar Guys pretty much told me too bad, there is nothing they can do and he hopes I get acclimated to them. I won't. I should've been told prior to installation that they changed the style. So now I'm out close to $3000 for something I hate, and more if I have them removed and get my ceilings repaired. These are pictures of how the light shines thru, judge for yourself, if this really what you want. Sad thing is I called M & M Skylights and they were going to match Solar Guys price and install a larger fan in garage but I choose Solar Guys because I had them before and thought I knew what I was getting, wrong.. they lied telling me they were the same.
Solar guys answer to me was these are like the ones I had previously, they are NOT. I know what I had. They also say they offered different diffusers, they did, but they are not much better and they were going to charge me even more for them. So BEWARE The pictures below are what my lights look like all the time, looks like dirt or something is in the fixture.
