The entire staff at Solar Guys were nothing but kind, courteous, professional, and understand of my situation and timetables while I was bouncing back-and-forth between two states. My installer, Eric, was amazing! He knocked the installation out in no time at all without any mess whatsoever. On top of that, he was just a great guy to talk to. The solar tubes themselves, are fantastic and provide even more light than the tubes that my in-laws had installed in their home over 25 years ago. I only had one tube installed to cover an entrance hallway that had absolutely no light coming in from the outside and was like a dark cave if the ceiling lights were not turned on. That single tube lights the entire hallway as though the sun is shining right through the house. I am so impressed that I’m probably going to have more installed. You definitely could not pick a better group for your project or a better product.

FANTASTIC SERVICE! We called this morning with an issue that needed to be checked and their service technician, Chris, was out to the house within two hours. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He assured us there was no problem with our initial concern but pointed out out attic fans were no longer working and was able to replace them immediately. No waiting for a second appointment so everything was handled quickly. We used their company when we first moved into our house years ago to install three solar tubes and two attic fans and we HIGHLY recommend them. 👌

Chandler was/is a delightful young man and he did a wonderful job...plus he is just pleasant to be around! He dealt with several issues in our attic and got them sorted (in the bloody heat I might mention). My solar tubes are such a blessing as my little house has been pretty dark because I have so few windows in the middle. BEWARE of SOLAR GUYS get M and M instead. This was my third house, I had solar tubes installed in by Solar Guys. The first 2 houses were great, so I didn't hesitate to install in another. I asked for the same tubes I had previously and was told these are the same, except they have a night light in them. 3 were installed. These are NOT the same as what I had previously, These are horrible, ununiform and look even worse at night, When I complained and told them how much I dislike them, Jesse Wade, from Solar Guys pretty much told me too bad, there is nothing they can do and he hopes I get acclimated to them. I won't. I should've been told prior to installation that they changed the style. So now I'm out close to $3000 for something I hate, and more if I have them removed and get my ceilings repaired. These are pictures of how the light shines thru, judge for yourself, if this really what you want. Sad thing is I called M & M Skylights and they were going to match Solar Guys price and install a larger fan in garage but I choose Solar Guys because I had them before and thought I knew what I was getting, wrong.. they lied telling me they were the same.
Solar guys answer to me was these are like the ones I had previously, they are NOT. I know what I had. They also say they offered different diffusers, they did, but they are not much better and they were going to charge me even more for them. So BEWARE The pictures below are what my lights look like all the time, looks like dirt or something is in the fixture.

Installed 2-35 W over main floor and 1-16 W solar attic fans over a very hot second story bonus room in August. After one month I’ve already seen a $70 drop in my electric bill. Look forward to taking 30% off on my tax return for the tax credits which end at the end of the year for 2025.

I can tell the ventilation is a lot better because my mirrors don’t steam up now that I don’t have a hot attic. And I hope to see my bill continue to go down next summer.

The roof is leak proof as I’ve had multiple rain storms with no issues so the installation was phenomenal.

As an environmentalist who tries to live sustainably, I looked for months to find the right installers and system for me in KCMO area. (recommend using EnergySage, it's how I found The Solar Guys)

The installers were able to get everything done in two days. A 9.9KW system on a split-level home. The lead installer Brad gave me a very understandable explanation of the process. Answered all of my questions. The other installers Kyle and Jordan were hard working and polite. Any issues they would run it by me. Fully trust this team and Solar Guys.

The owners and salesmen felt honest and worked with me to find the right size system for my needs. There were difficulties finding historical usage for my previously vacant home, however TSG was able to find the info. I did finance my panels to afford the installation.

Their pre-inspection even found damaged breakers and they were able to wrap the new Fusebox into the solar loan agreement. 10/10 would hire again.

Appt was at noon but they showed up at 8. Said they would come back I was like no. 1) it's so much hotter at noon to be working in my attic and 2) I converted a patio sunroom into my office and its beeen ridiculously hot so lets git er done! I had Time insulation back when I lived in Clearwater Duke recommended them They told me we gave you a little "extra" sounds good right? nope when I had a home energy assesment there was no insulation in my living room and my sons room even though I paid to have the whole house insulated. Called the owner he said we would ever do that. Um sir I'm afraid you most certainly did do that. Long story short this company DID NOT do that to me. I even went up in the attic w a flashlight just to make sure but needn't have worried. All looks good. Highly recommend this company. The workers were very nice and thorough

I had a solar fan in a previous home and after a hail storm that destroyed my roof. Some windows, siding and wood fence. The fan didn't have a dent on it and the protective lens over the solar panel was perfect. I needed one in my new house, so I searched for distributors and found The Solar Guys. We had Brody and Joe, from the Solar Guys, insulate our entire house and add radiant barrier to our garage. Take a look at the attached pictures. Very professional job all the way. Look at the chart that shows our air conditioning usage before and after the insulation and radiant barrier. We had the insulation installed on Friday the 26th. From that day on, our A/C usage has dropped 25%. That's a real savings. Kudos for a job well done.
